Россиян ждут двенадцать новых моделей авто от АвтоВАЗа

AvtoVAZ Intends to Maintain Its Leading Position in the Russian Automotive Market and Is Open to Partnership Projects

AvtoVAZ summarized its work at the board of directors meeting with the participation of Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, Denis Manturov. The attention to one of the leaders of the Russian automotive industry in the cabinet is not in vain: it helped replace more than 1.2 thousand materials and components in place of supplies from unfriendly countries.

AvtoVAZ's production did not stand idle: in 2023, so many cars rolled off the assembly lines that the company broke its ten-year record. More than 374 thousand units of LADA were produced this year.

Next year, the number of AvtoVAZ's automotive products will increase to half a million. This will include new models – in March, the production of the new generation LADA Vesta was resumed in Togliatti, and in December, a trial batch of the Russian electric car LADA e-Largus was released.

The company's press service noted that the meeting approved a unified Company Development Strategy until 2030. In short, AvtoVAZ intends to maintain its leading position in the Russian automotive market and will be open to partnership projects. The product line will also become more extensive: over six years, it is planned to create and launch 12 new models in various price segments into mass production.
