VR stations and gamepads: new phygital centers equipped in five Russian cities

Ruselectronics has equipped e-sports zones in five Russian cities

The company "National Technologies" (part of Ruselectronics) has supplied IT equipment for e-sports zones in Kislovodsk, Kurgan, Elista, Kazan and Belgorod. This was reported by the holding's press service.

It is specified that some of the tournaments in the phygital centers will be held in virtual space, while the remaining competitions will be held on real sports grounds. The e-sports zones are equipped with automated gaming workstations, including gaming and VR servers, consoles, gamepads, and VR stations.

The equipment is necessary to prepare athletes for the "Games of the Future", which will be held in Kazan from February 21 to March 3, 2024. Athletes will compete in disciplines such as phygital hockey, phygital football, CS2+laser tag, robot battles, and drone racing.

Earlier in Moscow, the final of the "Battle of Robots" took place, the winners of which were a team from China. India took second place, Russia - third.
