Vandal-proof charging stations for electric transport started production in Russia

They will be able to charge not only conventional cars, but also electric buses and electric trucks

One of the subsidiaries of KRET (part of Rostec) has launched mass production of new charging stations for electric transport called "Fora". They have vandal-proof protection, are designed to operate in the temperature range from -30°C to +45°C and will be able to operate for ten years after installation.

More than two hundred of these stations will be produced per year, and they will be installed throughout the country: from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok

According to the Rostec press service, the charging stations have three modifications:

▪️ wall-mounted AC stations for charging one electric vehicle - for charging in 8 hours;

▪️ DC stations for two electric vehicles - for charging in 30-90 minutes;

▪️ ultra-fast charging stations for electric buses and electric freight transport - for charging in 24 minutes.

All stations are controlled and disconnected remotely through a single system. It also collects statistics on the operation and demand for stations in a particular area.

These are not the first Russian stations produced by this KRET, but the first with such characteristics and a long service life.
