Ярд серваков: в Рязани наладили серийное производство российских серверов

OpenYard plans to produce up to 60,000 servers per year

OpenYard has started serial production of servers in Ryazan. The technology site can assemble up to 60,000 servers per year, which is relevant given the increased demand for domestic solutions. We are talking about classic rack servers for data centers and powerful OCP architecture servers.

Server

The servers are based on x86 processor solutions, support up to 8 TB of RAM, and have up to 80 cores and 160 threads. The OpenYard website states that the company also manufactures the following equipment:

  • Computing nodes
  • Server racks
  • 32-disk array
  • GPU accelerator array

The enterprise in Ryazan was built back in the spring, when it belonged to the "Center for Open Technologies" (Yandex and Lanit Group owned shares in it). However, these companies later withdrew from the joint venture, selling them to private investors.

According to plans, the new owners of production facilities want to occupy about 10% of the server equipment market by next year. They may be able to achieve this goal, since, as OpenYard states, the production line is now fully loaded.
