Минобороны России показало советские противотанковые пушки «Рапира» в действии

"Rapira" can fire even in difficult weather conditions thanks to its radar sight

The Russian Ministry of Defense has released a video showing the operation of the MT-12 "Rapira" 100-mm towed anti-tank guns.

They have been in service since the Soviet era, but remain quite combat-capable when needed

The MT-12 "Rapira" is towed on a gun carriage and can fire HEAT and high-explosive fragmentation rounds even in difficult weather conditions thanks to its radar sight.

It can destroy tanks and other armored targets of any enemy, and is also capable of destroying dugouts and concrete shelters.

The anti-tank gun weighs 3.1 tons. It fires about 6 rounds per minute at a range of about 8,200 meters. Drones help the artillery crew in targeting.
