Russian FPV Drones Trained to Work as Sappers

They penetrate where it is dangerous or even impossible for a person to approach

The Russian Ministry of Defense has reported on the successful experience of FPV drones in a new role.

They work as sappers where living people cannot pass

The technology helps to demine the most complex "barriers" of mines, including mines that have seismic and laser sensors.

After detecting an explosive object, the FPV drone flies for its working tool - a TNT block with an igniter tube. Thanks to the drone, the sapper remotely lowers the charge directly onto the mine.

After that, the sapper drone leaves the dangerous area at a speed of more than 100 km/h and records the explosion from the side. The work is done.
