Помогают врачам и пациентам: «робокошки»-помощники появились в больницах Москвы

Robotic assistants have appeared in three Moscow hospitals

A pilot project using robot couriers has been launched at Vorokhobov City Clinical Hospital No. 67, the Sklifosovsky Research Institute, and Filatov City Clinical Hospital No. 15 in Moscow. Due to their appearance, the electronic assistants have been nicknamed "robocats," according to the press service of Moscow Deputy Mayor Anastasia Rakova.

The robot has a modern design: an elongated "torso"-cabinet and a monitor that mimics the emotions of a cat. The autonomous assistant moves in space thanks to a system of built-in sensors. It helps medical staff and greets patients.

You can make contact with the robot assistant by stroking its head. After that, a list of available functions is displayed on the monitor, including delivering cargo to the nurse's station and escorting the patient to the elevator. According to Rakova, if the pilot project is successful, such robocats will appear in all Moscow hospitals.

It is also reported that the Filatov and Botkin hospitals have fully switched to a digital paperless format as part of the "Digital Clinic" project. Thanks to this, doctors save up to 30% of their time, since all information about the patient is available in the EMIAS (Unified Medical Information and Analytical System) and is updated in real time.

Digital Clinic

The Sklifosovsky Research Institute of Emergency Medicine and the Veresaev Hospital are already working according to a similar scheme. The Moscow authorities plan to introduce the "Digital Clinic" in all metropolitan medical institutions in the next two years.
