Российский комплекс РЭБ «Поле-21» легко подавляет даже американские высокоточные снаряды Excalibur

The Western analogue of the Russian high-precision guided shells "Krasnopol" loses aiming accuracy and deviates from the set course

The Russian EW system "Pole-21" easily bypasses the strongest examples of Western weaponry. This was written in Forbes magazine by Vikram Mittal, Associate Professor of Systems Engineering at the US Military Academy "West Point."

EW system "Pole-21".

He notes that the "Pole-21" systems successfully suppress GPS signals needed to launch American high-precision M982 Excalibur shells. The shells deviate from their course and do not reach the target.

If we draw analogies with Russian weapons, then in terms of their technical characteristics and destruction on the battlefield, the M982 Excalibur is similar to the Russian "Krasnopol" shells.

The EW system "Pole-21", which is mentioned in the article, was developed at the Scientific and Technical Center for Electronic Warfare. It has been in service with the Russian army since 2016, and several modifications have been created on its basis.

The basic "Pole-21" system can disable the signal of all navigation satellites of any weapon. It includes an R-340RP radio station with instruments and antennas, as well as a remote control panel that provides control over 100 posts. Each antenna jamming module is capable of suppressing radio signals at ranges of at least 25 km. The energy potential of the installation is 300-1000 W.

However, these are not the only Russian electronic warfare systems that have conquered the world recently. For example, the Russian EW system "Bylina" is being discussed in the media of both Russia and the West, the artificial intelligence of which can simultaneously control dozens of different EW systems at significant distances without the participation of an operator. This EW system can even find enemy satellites. However, Russia has not officially used it in combat operations anywhere.

And the International Aviation and Space Exhibition Dubai Airshow 2023 in the UAE was conquered by the EW system "Sapphire", which officially already has combat experience. The system itself classifies the enemy in the air and notes how dangerous it is for the protected object, and acts accordingly. "Sapphire" suppresses all drones: from homemade products to FPV drones of a potential enemy.
