Two Russian medical inventions received awards at the INEX International Innovation and Invention Exhibition in India. Both of them belong to the Ural Optical and Mechanical Plant named after E. S. Yalamov of the Schwabe Holding of the Rostec State Corporation.
The first domestic mobile incubator for transporting newborns "BONNY" received a gold medal and international recognition.
Unlike foreign analogues, inside the Russian mobile incubator there are not only temperature monitoring systems, but also systems for measuring heart rate and blood oxygen levels. If the baby inside gets worse during transportation, the incubator starts emitting special sound signals.
The MAIA-01 inhalation anesthesia machine for children and adults received a silver medal in India. It can work with patients weighing more than eight kilograms using any anesthesia techniques.
This device with autonomous power supply has a silent high-precision electric motor at the heart of the ventilator unit, which does not require additional air consumption. MAIA-01 has monitors for assessing the patient's condition and the course of anesthesia, a pulse oximetry sensor and five modes of ventilation.
