Army "Mule": "Stalker" Transporter Passes Tests and Prepares for Shipment to Russian Military

Russian engineers have developed an army "mule" - the "Stalker" field transporter, reminiscent of the Soviet-era LuAZ-967 all-terrain vehicle. The vehicle was created by order of the "Veche" public organization.

The "Stalker" is designed for the rapid delivery of ammunition and evacuation of the wounded. The transporter is more compact compared to its Soviet predecessor. The weight of the LuAZ-967 in various configurations ranged from 950 to 1350 kg, while the "Stalker" weighs up to 500 kg. At the same time, the carrying capacity of the development reaches 500 kg. The machine's dimensions are: length 3.4 m, width 1.8 m.

Under the hood of the transporter is a 35 hp gasoline engine, which works in tandem with a manual transmission. The "Stalker" can reach speeds of up to 50 km/h, with a gasoline consumption of 4 liters per 100 km. A cabin or awning can be installed on the vehicle. The developers are considering the possibility of creating an electric modification of the "Stalker".
