A plant for the production of domestic boards for electronics will be launched in Rostov-on-Don in the spring of 2024.
GC "Beshtau" plans to start with small capacities: 1.4 thousand square dm per day or about 35 thousand square dm per month.
At first, these will be fourth-class accuracy boards for simple devices and tools.
In the next two years, Rostov will master the production of fifth and sixth accuracy class boards at this enterprise. They are installed on gadgets, laptops, household appliances, and some medical equipment. For this, the plant will need to install high-precision premium equipment.
Of the total volume, the plant plans to sell 40% of its board products to domestic electronics manufacturers. The rest will be kept for itself: next year the company launches the production of laptops from completely domestic components in Rostov.
Manufacturers are looking forward to it: domestic boards in Russia are in short supply. Russian board manufacturers cover only 10% of the market demand for them.
Currently, Russian electronics manufacturers purchase 90% of boards in China and other countries that have not joined the anti-Russian sanctions. But it is more difficult for companies with a large number of foreign parts in their devices to enter the public procurement market or receive preferences from the state.
