The Russian T-80UE-1 tank is a reliable combat vehicle that will not let you down, said the commander of the tank company of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation with the call sign "Omega" in an interview with Anna News.
According to him, the main advantage of the tank is its safety. There is an enclosed large-caliber machine gun mount on the roof of the turret. With its help, the military can fire without exposing themselves to enemy bullets. In addition, the T-80UE-1 is equipped with a thermal imaging sight, which increases the possibility of firing from a 125-mm cannon.
The tank is very maneuverable. Thanks to a 1250 hp turbine, it can accelerate up to 75 km/h on the highway, and up to 60 km/h on dirt roads. The T-80UE-1 also received an upgrade in the form of protection against drones - a system that jams enemy drones. It effectively copes with drones of various modifications.
The T-80 tank was nicknamed the flying tank, because with a weight of 44 tons, it accelerates to 50 km/h in just 17 seconds. Tankers do not have to stop to fire: the T-80 accurately hits even at speeds up to 35 km/h. No other tank in the world has such characteristics.
