The Mi-8MTV-1 is versatile for rescuers: it is suitable for extinguishing fires, conducting search and rescue operations in hard-to-reach areas, medical evacuation of victims and other emergency needs. It can accommodate more than 20 passengers or 12 stretchers with attendants.

This medium-class helicopter is capable of lifting 4 tons of cargo in the helicopter cabin and on an external sling and developing speeds up to 250 km/h. Another distinctive feature is the VSU-5A water drain device. It allows you to collect and drop up to 5 tons of water on fire spots.
