The Moscow region company JSC «RATEP» (part of «Almaz-Antey») presented the upgraded ship rocket launcher «Mosquito 3M47-03E» at the «Interpolitex-2023» exhibition in Moscow.
According to a company representative, the setup is intended for ships that cannot carry heavy air defense systems. The «Mosquito 3M47-03E» complex is equipped with standard «Igla-S» missiles and guided «Ataka», can hit low-flying planes and drones, as well as surface kamikaze boats, moving at a speed of up to 90 km/h. «Mosquito 3M47-03E» can be used not only for defense purposes, but also to protect industrial facilities within Russia, concluded the interlocutor.
The «Interpolitex» exhibit first opened in 1998. Over the past years, the event has become the largest in Russia in the field of security. The aim of the exhibition is to solve the equipment problems of law enforcement agencies, special services with technical means of ensuring security.
