The Russian concern "AvtoVAZ" plans to raise prices for its cars from November 1. This information was confirmed by auto expert Maxim Kadakov. According to him, this pricing policy is not new for the domestic automaker.
"AvtoVAZ" traditionally rewrites price tags 3-4 times a year
Kadakov recalled that before that, the concern could raise prices for its cars up to 7 times a year. However, rewriting price tags does not affect the sales of domestic cars - they continue to grow.
Moreover, as the expert emphasized, Russians are showing interest in budget and premium cars. For example, from January to September 2023, 88 Aurus were sold in Russia, while for the same period in 2022 - only 45.
Earlier it was reported that in the first half of October, AvtoVAZ rewrote the price tag on Lada Vesta and the special version of Lada Niva Legend Bronto.
