Ultra-sensitive Russian photo lens 'Zenitar' will help in diagnosing cancer and tuberculosis

The new development easily integrates into fluorographs

Krasnogorsky Zavod named after S.A. Zverev, part of Rostec's Schwabe holding, developed the ultra-sensitive lens 'Zenitar-S'.

'Zenitar-S' is based on the developments of 'Zenit' photo technology.

The lens helps to timely diagnose cancer and tuberculosis. With the help of the device, you can get very small fluorograms with the size of 70×70 or 110×110 mm. They will show specialists not only oncological diseases and tuberculosis, but other diseases at the early stages of development.

According to the press service of 'Schwabe', the first fifty 'Zenitar-S' 1.2/50s have already been shipped to the production of devices for digital radiography. They will be included in the equipment of fluorographs.
