Rosatom's wind energy subsidiary plans to build a wind power plant in Kyrgyzstan

The installed capacity of the planned station will be 100 MW

The wind energy division of Rosatom, NovaVind, is expanding beyond Russia. The company has signed an agreement with the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund to study and implement an investment project for the construction of a wind power plant in the Issyk-Kul region of Kyrgyzstan.

Nine similar wind parks are already operating in Russia.

As reported by NovaVind's press service, the future wind park will generate 100 MW of power.

For NovaVind, this will not be the first experience. Over the past three years, the company has installed nine wind parks in Adygea, Rostov Region, and Stavropol Territory. Their projected power capacity is 1 GW.

Generators, gondolas, cooling systems for wind turbines, and other necessary components for the construction of wind power plants are manufactured on Russian territory.
