Russia is developing a project for a marine mobile robotic system that can operate in remotely controlled and autonomous modes.
The development of the Nevskoe Design Bureau, which is part of the United Shipbuilding Corporation, combines several systems at once: from drones to unmanned boats and large multifunctional surface platforms. All of them will work on one Russian-developed software.
According to the Telegram channel "Bespilot", the technical and research part of the project has already been completed - it was carried out from 2019 to 2022. Now the Nevskoe Design Bureau is working on the manufacture of the first sample of the platform and its contents, they want to certify it by 2026.
But the renders are already ready and you can imagine the approximate appearance of the platform and its objects.
It is noted that unmanned boats and vessels, due to the high modularity of target payloads, will be able to perform a wide range of tasks.
It is not specified whether the tasks will be exclusively civilian or whether they will have a military component.
In addition, future platforms will contain surface and underwater multifunctional test benches.
