A project of a mobile maritime robotic system is being developed in Russia, which will be able to operate in remote-controlled and in autonomous mode.
The development by the «Nevsky Design Bureau», which is part of the United Shipbuilding Corporation, combines several systems: from unmanned aerial vehicles to unmanned boats and large multifunctional above-water platforms. All of them will operate on the same software of Russian development.
According to the Telegram channel «Unmanned», the technical and research part of the project has already been completed - it was conducted from 2019 to 2022. Now, the «Nevsky Design Bureau» is working on the manufacture of the first sample of the platform and its contents, it is expected to be completed by 2026.
But the renders are already ready, and you can imagine the approximate appearance of the platform and its objects.
It is noted that unmanned boats and vessels will be able to perform a wide range of tasks due to a high modularity of target loads.
Whether the tasks will be exclusively civilian, or whether there will be a military component, is not specified.
In addition, future platforms will contain above-water and underwater multifunctional test stands.
