Official sales of iPhone 15 started on September 22. In the first incomplete week, sales of Apple smartphones in Russia were half as high as the previous iPhone model. This was reported by Mobile Research Group.
Experts believe that the demand among Russians was influenced by the sky-high prices for the smartphone, as well as uncertainty with warranty service. It is known that 3.5 thousand iPhone 15s were registered in Russian cellular networks.
At Restore, the price for the device starts from 129,99 thousand rubles and reaches 269,99 thousand rubles. The most expensive smartphone purchased on Ozon was the iPhone 15 Pro Max with 1 TB of memory in Blue Titanium. Its cost was 349,99 thousand rubles.
Tele2 reported low demand for the new product due to its high cost. This price is explained by the supply of iPhone 15 to the Russian market through parallel imports. MTS, on the contrary, claims that Russians have shown interest in the smartphone. The number of pre-orders for iPhone 15 in the MTS network is twice as high compared to pre-orders for the previous model. Megafon holds a similar opinion, stating an increase in the number of pre-orders compared to the pre-order indicators for iPhone 14.
