The "High-Precision Systems" holding, part of the Rostec State Corporation, has completed the delivery of a new batch of advanced infantry fighting vehicles (BMP-2M) with "Berezhok" combat modules to the armed forces of the Russian Federation. These combat vehicles are the product of the Tula Instrument Design Bureau (KBP) team and possess unique characteristics that are indispensable in combat.
The BMP-2M with the "Berezhok" combat module is designed for the effective destruction of enemy personnel, as well as armored military equipment, including tanks. These vehicles are equipped with a 30-mm 2A42 automatic cannon, a 7.62-mm PKTM machine gun, a 30-mm AG-30M automatic grenade launcher, and two launchers for "Kornet" anti-tank guided missiles. The latter, in turn, received a modern laser-beam semi-automatic guidance system, which significantly improved the accuracy of these devices. A completely new type of sub-caliber design projectile, called "Treзубka", has been added to the combat arsenal of the 30-mm cannon. With such weapons, these combat vehicles are capable of hitting targets at a distance of up to 8 kilometers, including all tanks and combat vehicles existing in the world.

The new version of the BMP-2M has significantly improved its combat characteristics thanks to an improved fire control system and an anti-tank missile system (ATGM). The main characteristics of this machine include all-day combat capability thanks to a thermal imaging sight, the ability to fire from any position (including movement), automatic target tracking, increased accuracy of firepower and crew safety during reloading. This upgraded version is also capable of hitting modern tanks and main armored targets.
Ozdoev noted that in order to fulfill the defense order, enterprises are actively introducing two- and three-shift work schedules and a six-day week, ensuring continuous production and high efficiency in the development and supply of military equipment.
