Marat Sharapov, Sales and Marketing Director of "Sollers Alabuga", announced that "Sollers" will start producing cars in Azerbaijan this fall at the local enterprise "AzerMash".
We have recently concluded an agreement on the development of cooperation with Azerbaijan. In the fall, we will have the official opening of this project. This will be our first export market.
The top manager added that the company is not going to stop there: "Sollers" has plans to enter the markets of other countries. And first of all, it will be the countries of the Customs Union (the documents necessary for the launch are unified with them). In addition to Russia, the Customs Union includes Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan.
In Azerbaijan, "Sollers" will produce its light commercial vehicles. There are currently two of them – Sollers Argo and Sollers Atlant.
