Yappy (part of Gazprom-Media Holding) has announced the expansion of the functionality of the social network of the same name – it now has the ability to exchange personal messages.
Previously, in Yappy, it was possible to communicate in open rooms or in comments under videos, but now messages can be sent to each other. However, there is one condition for this – users must be subscribed to each other. If one of the users unsubscribes during the dialogue, then sending messages will become unavailable. This was done to protect against spam.
The new Yappy feature is available on both iOS and Android – you just need to update the application. In the future, the developers promise to implement quick reactions and the ability to reply to individual messages in the chat.
