Yappy (part of Gazprom-Media Holding) announced the expansion of the functionality of the eponymous social network - a private messaging feature has appeared.
Previously on Yappy, one could communicate in open rooms or in comments under videos, but now messages can be sent to each other. However, there is one condition - users must be subscribed to each other. If one of the users unsubscribes during a dialogue, sending messages will also become unavailable. This measure was taken to protect against spam.
The new feature of Yappy is available for both iOS and Android, you just need to update the application. In the future, developers promise to implement quick reactions and the ability to reply to individual messages in the chat.
