The Future Technologies Forum will take place in Moscow from 9 to 14 July this year, a premier event in the field of advanced technologies in Russia. The launch of the Forum was announced by Vladimir Putin, speaking at SPIEF-2023, from 2023 this event will be held annually.
As reflected in the name, this year the Forum will be dedicated to quantum computing and data transmission technologies. The business program will be based on thematic blocks on the development and application of advanced technologies in various industries: IT, science, industry, medicine. The open days of the Forum - 13 and 14 July - will be covered by www1.
"Russia is one of the key centers of quantum technology development, which opens up new horizons in science and technology. We have provided the necessary conditions for attracting world-renowned scientists to the project to create a quantum computer. Today, quantum communication networks unite the country's largest metropolises into a single protected network, and this work will continue. At the Future Technologies Forum, we will discuss prospective directions for the development of quantum technologies and the most important aspects of their practical application", - Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Chernyshenko, co-chairman of the Forum's organizing committee, told about the event.
The Future Technologies Forum is held under the auspices of the Decade of Science and Technology, proclaimed by Vladimir Putin from 2022. The event is run by the Roscongress Foundation with support from the Ministry of Digital Development of Russia, the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS), and the Russian Quantum Center (RQC). Co-organizers: State Corporation Rosatom and JSC Russian Railways.
