Whoosh kicksharing service announced a project to localize the production of parts for electric scooters: such components are not only produced, but are already being installed on scooters. Localization is expected to save about 20% of the funds spent on components.
What exactly did Whoosh localize? Components that wear out most intensively - rubber mats, grips and grip plugs, decorative covers, etc. The localization project was launched in the fall of 2022. Currently, from 30% to 90% of Whoosh scooters are operated with new parts. And in the next season, it is planned to update 100% of the fleet with localized spare parts.
