AvtoVAZ today officially presented a "luxury" version of the Vesta NG sedan; the car has been given its own name, Aura. The key difference from the Vesta is the wheelbase, which has been extended by 25 mm.
Aura is a continuation of the Vesta Signature project: four such extended sedans were assembled in 2016. But Aura will become a truly mass-produced product.
«We have just presented a car, a novelty of this forum — the Lada Vesta Aura car — an extended version that can very well be used for our state order, for officials. It even has a small Aurus response — Aura - Aurus – sounds similar», — said AvtoVAZ President Maxim Sokolov.
Lada Vesta Aura will receive a 1.8-liter engine with a capacity of 122 hp, working in tandem with a CVT, ABS and ESP systems, original interior trim, a premium audio system, a two-tone steering wheel, and 17-inch alloy wheels. Other improvements include a retuned suspension and additional sound insulation.
