Russian robot "Teledroid" will appear on the ISS. It will be used for work in outer space

A functional model of "Teledroid" is planned to be made before the end of 2023

Executive Director of Android Technology Research and Production Association Evgeny Dudorov announced that the Teledroid robot developed by the company will go to the ISS.

«The robot will be used on the outer surface of the ISS to conduct a series of tests in space conditions. It will have copying control, that is, from the ship,» he said and added that Teledroid will be able to perform certain tasks autonomously.

Evgeny Dudorov noted that Teledroid is assembled using a small number of imported components. A fully functional model of the robot for testing in conditions close to real ones will be ready by 2023.
