The Agency 'Autostat' reports that the Russian car market, which fell sharply last year, returned to the top five European leaders in April of this year. In April, according to JSC 'PPK', 75,622 cars were sold in Russia - this was enough to enter the European top 5.
Germany took first place in terms of sales volume in the European market in April 2023 - 202,947 cars were sold in the country. The UK is in second place with a large gap (132,990 sold cars), followed by France (132,509 sold units). In Italy in April of this year, 125,805 cars were sold, and this is the fourth place. Interestingly, Russia overtook Spain by only a few hundred cars - the kingdom sold 74,749 cars in April.
