«Ростех» импортозаместил аудиогарнитуры для российских самолетов и вертолетов

High level of noise reduction and improved speech intelligibility

Rostec announced that the Oktava plant, which is part of the state corporation, has launched the production of modernized GSSH-A-18M audio headsets: they should replace foreign analogues in Russian civil aviation.

GSSH-A-18M receives and transmits voice information with increased sound interference up to 120 dB. Also among the advantages are a high level of noise reduction and improved speech intelligibility.

Currently, Oktava has established a full production cycle for the manufacture of GSSH-A-18M aircraft headsets, with approximately 2,000 units produced per year. The devices of the Tula plant are functional and comfortable to use. In terms of their characteristics, they are not inferior to foreign-made samples, such as David Clark, while being made entirely of domestic materials and components. We are now equipping Ansat helicopters of the Russian Helicopters holding and other Russian aviation equipment with Oktava headsets,” said Alexander Nazarov, Deputy General Director of Rostec.
