According to the public page «Atypical AvtoVAZ», the Volga car factory is considering the possibility of not stopping the conveyor line, on which the car much anticipated by many Russians is produced, even on Saturday.
«Saturday, May 13, may become a working day for all AvtoVAZ assembly line . If the decision for Lada Niva and Lada Granta lines has already been made, the decision for Lada Vesta NG is still being worked out.
Thus, it is proposed to start assembling the flagship of the model range on the upcoming weekend for a shift of 8 hours. As we have already reported, the factory has implemented its March plans and switched back to a two-shift schedule for the Lada Vesta NG assembly line. How ready it is to work extra on Saturdays, the upcoming days will show.
The plans for Lada Niva and Lada Granta for the usual working day off remain the same. SUVs will be released on May 13 for one 8-hour shift, the Lada Granta line will be operated for 12 hours. Workers will be paid double for this day, as provided for by the AvtoVAZ collective agreement», – writes «Atypical AvtoVAZ».
Starting from today, let's recall, AvtoVAZ has launched full-scale serial production of Lada Vesta NG: the enterprise is preparing for the upcoming sales start.
