The Avtostat agency reported that there are 1 million 114 thousand cars older than 35 years in Russia. Most of them (649 thousand or about 60%) are Lada brand, but Toyota is already in second place (153.2 thousand or about 14%). The top 5 "oldest" brands also include Moskvich (44.6 thousand, 4%), Nissan (42.6 thousand, 3.8%) and Audi (38.5 thousand, 3.5%).
Speaking of models, the most common "oldies" are VAZ-2106 (15.6% of the total number), VAZ-2101 (15.5%) and Niva (7.9%). Most of the cars aged 35+ are in Primorsky Krai, Irkutsk Oblast, Krasnodar and Altai Krai, as well as in the Kaliningrad region.
