Yandex's Wind scooters are now available for testing in St. Petersburg: since April 19, they can be rented through Yandex Go. Rentals are available at two rates: Fixed and Per-minute. In the second case, the cost will be 6 rubles per minute. Up to three scooters can be rented simultaneously from one account.
Yandex calls its Wind the world's first rental scooters with shock absorbers on both the front and rear wheels. Of course, this should increase riding comfort. The equipment also includes turn signals and an LED headlight. The maximum speed is 20 km/h (but in crowded places, the speed may automatically decrease).
